I enjoy going to Montreal for the Kinetik Festival, an annual multi-day showcase of Industrial, EBM, and Synthpop bands. It gives me opportunity to use my rusty French, eat poutine, walk windy cobblestones between pattiseries and boulangeries while eating gelato, and see some of my closest friends. I have thought time and again of expatriating there.
